Widening of Akurli Pass and Coastal Road Extension
Along with the inauguration of the Akurli Bridge, Goyal also mentioned the importance of the Akurli underpass widening project, which will further help reduce traffic congestion. He instructed the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) to complete this by early October. Additionally, he called for the Coastal Road extension to Bhayandar and the speeding up of several other projects aimed at clearing traffic bottlenecks in the city.
